The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) is leading Australia’s return to the Admiral’s Cup in 2025, aiming to defend the title last won in 2003 by the Australian team from the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club.

At the heart of the CYCA 2025 campaign is Gordon Ketelbey’s TP52 Zen, with experienced sailors like Chris Nicholson and Tom Addis onboard. The team is backed by campaign manager Shane Guanaria, bringing years of collaboration and racing pedigree. Joining them is Sean Langman’s Back 2 Black, a Fast 40/GP42, adding versatility to the squad. With the Cup returning after 22 years, CYCA is determined to showcase Australia’s offshore racing strength on the world stage.
